Both of my children have attended Little Lambs Preschool.
I am thrilled with the one-on-one attention they received with the intimate class size, this was evident in
the quality education they received. My youngest daughter was very much an introvert at the beginning
of the year. By the end of the year, not only was she participating with the class but she was also
singing songs about our Lord. They would come home singing about God, telling me stories about Jesus,
and share about their days filled with art, stories and friends. I highly recommend Little Lambs
Preschool, it was an investment in laying the foundation for a successful
The Good Shepherd's Little Lambs Preschool is such an amazing place to take your children
to learn, play, and grow. Class sizes are small, which is great for one on one attention, and the ability to move
at the pace of the students and not the curriculum. My son Andrew thoroughly enjoyed meeting new kids and telling
me everyday all the fun projects he had created. The teachers here genuinely care about the kids as if they were
their own and I am looking forward to my daughter attending the toddler classes in the
My son, Nikolas, started school for the 2016-2017
year in the 2 day a week class. I was not sure how he would take it since he never went to a daycare and was
not away from me. He ended up liking school thanks to the patience of the teacher and the assistant.
All staff are very knowledgeable, caring, have a good attitude, giving, and are very involved with the kid’s
education. My son would teach me about Jesus. He would be very involved with reading thanks to the
library system the school provides and enjoyed every time they made projects because he would make them thinking of
his brother or me and I would see his happy face explaining how the project was made. The school is a very
positive environment for our little ones and I see how much Nikolas has gained and grown in knowledge in all
aspects of the school curriculum. I am very pleased with the education Little Lambs Preschool provided to my
"My daughter was here for the 2016-2017 school year and she absolutely loved it.
The atmosphere is inviting. My daughter loved the craft activities and singing all of the songs. This is a really
nice place to send your little ones. We’re moving on to elementary school now, but Little Lambs was a great
"I was extremely worried about our son starting school. Yet, with the patience, love, and
understanding you have shown him, you have taught me to understand and show more patience. I have no negative
feedback for this school and the professionals who teach here. I know our son was a handful and to watch such
devotion and helpful (selfless) acts to help not only him, but myself; it fills me with happiness. It is refreshing
to see teachers who show true love for their job and the students they have. I can’t thank you all enough for the
mass amount of support you have shown us. Thank you for a wonderful year!
I will for sure be looking at sending my youngest here when he is old enough. Thank you
"The overall experience our child received this year was very good, positive, happy, helpful and developing.
The music and singing was very good (singing helped us in our home routine). The craft and art projects were
wonderful, rich, and interesting. The classrooms were nice and clean and the Biblical lessons were very good. Thank
"Mrs. Huset (the teacher) and Mrs. Tanner (the assistant teacher) both
are very kind to the kids. My son, Vu Nguyen loves school. This tells me
a lot that the classroom is fun. Good Shepherd's Little Lamb is a good
and safe environment. My son will attend here one more year before going
to kindergarten. Thanks Mrs. Huset and Mrs. Tanner. Thank you so

"Two years ago, it became clear that my then 3-year-old son and I had spent just
a tad too much time together. I'm absolutely not complaining - having the (rare) luxury to be able to work from
home and balance that with caring for my son has been a gift, but it got to the point that he needed someone
telling/showing/teaching him what to do beyond Mommy. He also needed to be around kids his own age - the world
must have seemed very tall to him. So, as a one-car family, my husband and I chose the sweet-looking Little
Lamb's Preschool that was walking distance from our home, went to the orientation, and were sold.
The school soon proved itself in a million ways far more important than
proximity. The knowledge, patience, understanding and caring of Mrs. Huset, the preschool director, and the
assistant teachers, Mrs. Tanner and Mrs. Long, made for an environment in which our son has thrived.
We are spiritual people, though not consistent church-goers, so we were so happy
to find that the school teaches our son what we believe to be the most important things in life: love, respect,
caring, appreciation, patience, kindness...and so on.
We have started going to the church too, every so often, and I feel it's
important to point out that while it was always clear we were more than welcome and invited to attend services,
there was never any pressure to attend.
It's been a wonderful experience, and thanks to the guidance of Little Lambs we
are simultaneously excited (and very prepared) for Kindergarten, and sad to leave our friends. We are glad we'll
be able to visit them at church.
As far as the nuts and bolts go, the program is incredibly affordable, the space
is bright, cheerful, CLEAN, and full of love and warmth. There are a few social events for preschool families
throughout the year, and the daily program is a nice balance of play and learning the essentials. The school
year includes two exciting field trips - one across the street to see the Concordia Elementary school children
play music, and one to assistant teacher Mrs. Tanner's home farm.
I can't recommend Little Lamb's preschool enough!"
Little Lambs has been an incredible home for our daughter.
It is really exciting to watch her personal growth as she learns more and develops relationships with other
children and Staff. The Teachers are amazing and genuinely care for our children. Our Daughter loves school days
and is always really excited to come home and show us everything she has learned that day. We look forward to
experiencing another year with Little Lambs and Good Shepherd!"
“We chose Little Lamb’s because it was in our neighborhood, we stayed because
our son has learned so much, grown so much, and loved it so much. We can’t thank you enough! You have made a
difference in our lives.”
"Simply the BEST preschool in Tacoma. But don't take my
word, check out their website and read the reviews from parents. Then check out their incredibly
low tuition rate and their 7 to 1 student to teacher ratio. They even offer multiple discounts! But the final
action that will convince you that the Good Shepherd Lutheran's Little Lambs Preschool is simply the BEST
preschool in Tacoma, is to actually visit them and talk with their teachers. Once there, you will find a CLEAN,
well kept school that offers your child a SAFE environment in which to learn the early lessons necessary to give
your child a head start toward their educational and personal lives.
Do you and your child a favor and check out Little Lambs
You won't be disappointed!"
